VSP Ventures has a fantastic opportunity for a flaoting full-time or part-time Optometrist to care for patients of all ages, visual conditions, and medical diagnoses in the diverse communities of Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, and Auburn. What you'll do:
As a floating Optometrist, you'll provide comprehensive vision care to patients in modernized practices with access to behind-the-scenes diagnostic technology, including Optos, Pentacam, Visual Fields, OCT, Lipiview, Lipiflow, and other advanced technology-plus highly trained staff to support you throughout examinations. You can look forward to caring for approximately 22 patients daily.

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
