Key Responsibilities- Conduct eye examinations and diagnose eye diseases
- Provide treatment to inmates, including prescribing medications and performing surgeries
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in optometry and eye care
- Valid license to practice optometry in the State of California
- Two years of experience in the practice of optometry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
