NAFI CT is a multi-service nonprofit agency that provides programming, consultation, and individualized support services to youth, families, and adults in a variety of settings across Connecticut. Our ASBTE Program (Adolescent Sexual Behavior Treatment and Education) is seeking dynamic therapists to provide a 2-level, in-home clinical treatment to qualified individuals and their families who are in need of services to address the multiple determinants underlying problematic juvenile sexual behavior.

Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Hold a caseload of 12 participants/families
  • Therapists are provided the use of agency vehicle
  • Participate in the screening and assessment of referred participants
  • Participate in treatment planning meetings, case conferences and other clinical meetings
  • Provide in home Psychoeducation, Individual and Family Therapy, Safety planning and Crisis Intervention
  • Maintain appropriate contact with referring agencies and community stakeholders
  • Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience working with juveniles, youth and families
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • High energy and superior interpersonal skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of inappropriate sexual behavior.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be available for travel (work vehicle provided)
  • Cultural competency to serve a diverse population

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology or social work and must meet DPH credentialing requirements.
  • High energy, superior interpersonal skills.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be available for state-wide travel.
  • Cultural competency to serve a diverse population
  • Bilingual nice to have
Salary: $65,000.00 / per year
