The University of North Carolina School of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member for a Pediatric Neurologist position at a multi-specialty academic practice in Coastal NC. This is a full-time, open rank clinical faculty position, on the fixed term track with the option of part-time focusing on reading EEG studies, supervising APPs in outpatient clinic and performing outpatient sleep clinics. The candidate must be board certified/eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology and additional training in either sleep medicine or epilepsy is required. This is an excellent opportunity to join the current pediatric neurologist and advanced practice provider in this growing practice.

The Novant Health - New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NH-NHRMC) facility is a full spectrum community-based multispecialty practice and children's hospital that includes a 45 bed Level III NICU, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and inpatient unit. Through the partnership between Novant Health and UNC Children's, NH-NHRMC will become the tertiary care referral hospital for children in Coastal and Southeastern NC. Though not the primary focus of the center, research opportunities are also available.

The faculty member will also be expected to develop and perform clinical activities in surrounding outreach locations in Southeastern NC. Salary will be based on experience and aligned to community-based specialist rates. Incentive compensation will support highly productive providers and meeting other targets aligned with broad system goals.
