Data Scientist
Overview: We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role will involve leveraging advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, drive data-driven decision-making, and develop predictive models. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, expertise in statistical methods, and experience with data manipulation and machine learning. Experience in semiconductor equipment and semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
- Model Development: Develop, implement, and validate predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Data Cleaning: Preprocess and clean raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings, model performance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Research: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, and apply new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Experimentation: Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, validate models, and optimize algorithms.
- Tool Development: Develop and maintain tools and scripts to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
- Ethical Data Use: Ensure ethical considerations and data privacy are maintained throughout the data analysis process.
- Degree: BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating data analysis and modeling skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data analysis libraries and frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras).
- Advanced Skills: Knowledge and experience in semiconductor equipment and semiconductor manufacturing data & analytics
