  • Department: Interventional Radiology
  • Shift Timings: Morning Shift 08:00 - 16:30 Hours Monday to Friday
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Minimum Qualifications
  • WI License; Call: based on needs of the department but usually 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month (every 3rd weekend)
  • Holidays: rotating with regular staff; IR
  • Experience needed in IR department
  • May need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Interventional Radiology experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered RN Michigan state license
  • One year of Epic experience

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
