**Job Description:**

**Position Overview:**

As a Commercial Drywall Estimator with 5 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects by accurately estimating costs associated with drywall installations for commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our projects are competitively priced, profitable, and executed efficiently.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Estimation:** Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial drywall projects.

2. **Bid Preparation:** Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.

3. **Cost Analysis:** Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.

4. **Vendor and Subcontractor Management:** Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.

5. **Project Coordination:** Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates and bids.

6. **Risk Assessment:** Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

7. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documents.

8. **Continuous Improvement:** Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to continuously improve estimating processes and methodologies.

**Requirements:**

1. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.

2. **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimation.

3. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in estimating software such as Onscreen Takeoff/ QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.

4. **Analytical Skills:** Ability to analyze project requirements, interpret drawings and specifications, and accurately calculate material and labor costs.

5. **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

6. **Attention to Detail:** Keen attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and bidding processes.

7. **Negotiation Skills:** Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.

8. **Organizational Skills:** Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

9. **Team Player:** Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the projects.
