Location: Remote with site visits in Rochester, NY
Type of Employment: Full Time
Role & Responsibilities:
- The Project Support Specialist will work under the direction of the Quality Manager or Project Manager. Ideal candidates will have strong analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, think holistically and strategically, and envision and document processes. The applicant should possess strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently to achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Facilitate discussions with business area representatives to create process flow diagrams and process documents.
- Analyze business area information for incorporation into process documents.
- Parse information and present it in a meaningful format.
- Anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative appropriately.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education & Experience Required:
- Superior skills within Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams)
- Experience reviewing and developing processes
- Superior organizational skills and accuracy
- Ability to communicate accurately and clearly
- Must have customer service oriented "can do" approach to work
- Strong knowledge of the electric utility business.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Bi experience
