Job Summary

The Big Data Engineer will design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using modern big data technologies and cloud platforms. This role requires expertise in data modeling, integration, and analysis, ensuring high-quality, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience working with big data ecosystems and a strong understanding of data warehousing and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms for optimized data processing and storage.

• Develop scalable and efficient big data solutions using technologies like Hadoop and Spark.

• Build and maintain data models and warehouses, ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.

• Develop and deploy data visualization solutions using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

• Write and optimize code in Python or Java for data processing and analytics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data systems, ensuring reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Snowflake integration.

• Proficiency in big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and best practices.

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with advanced big data tools and frameworks.

• Knowledge of emerging data processing technologies and trends.
