Responsibilities

Pharmacy Tech Trainee for our Pharmacy Department.  General maintenance, preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical and pharmacy supplies.

Handles the drug distribution system: Runs ADM reports and pulls medications, stocks ADM machines, delivers all medications and returns discontinued drugs to pharmacy, receives new and refill prescriptions from patient and fills and bags prescriptions

Performs scheduled QA responsibilies, unit inspections and outdate trackingReviews prescription records, bundles them and files them away. Equipment Operation

Qualifications Minimum

  • AZ Licensure as Pharmacy Technician Trainee. Must obtain Pharmacy Tech certification within one year of trainee position.

  • High School Diploma

Preferred

  • 6 months experience preferred
