Physician Assistant

Growing radiology group in the popular Charlotte, North Carolina area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their expanding practice Ideal candidates will have experience in interventional radiology, critical care, or a surgical subspecialty with OR training.
This group has a great history of training and is focused on finding candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and passionate about interventional radiology.
This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the growing field of IR and receive hands-on training from some of the finest radiologists in North Carolina. Please contact with any questions.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
- Monday-Friday
- No weekends, no nights, no on-call duties
- Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified radiologists and advanced practice providers
- Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
- Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
- Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- North Carolina Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with hands-on procedures and/or surgical assisting
- Proficient with EMR systems
