Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality medical care to patients across various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, taking into account individual patient needs and treatment goals.
  • Perform a wide range of medical procedures, such as wound care, suturing, and minor surgical interventions, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms, to aid in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive healthcare measures, treatment options, and medication management.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate communication among healthcare providers.
  • Stay abreast of current medical literature, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to inform clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant, in good standing, with the ability to practice independently within the scope of practice defined by state regulations.
