Evannex is the leading ecommerce destination for Tesla and EV enthusiasts across the
world based out of Northeast Ohio. Evannex is looking to add a Product Specialist to
its NEO based team.

The Product Specialist is responsible for our catalog of products - this includes
maintaining our existing product catalog; ideation, onboarding, and merchandising of
new products and brands; providing product support to our customer-facing teams. He
or she will be responsible for gathering customer insights, needs and desires by talking
to customers, conducting surveys, talking to our knowledgeable sales reps and
gathering insights from social sites and forums to offer compelling new products and
optimizing the shopping experience for existing products. In addition, the Product
Specialist will offer product support in-person, phones, chat, and email, for our customer
operations teams.

This role will also be involved in the creation of new Evannex products. The creation of
new products will require collaboration with several internal teams such as the Research
& Development to outline new product features, the Sourcing & Purchasing team to
execute a purchase order for new items, and the Marketing team to create compelling
product focused content via social and email to support the product launch.
Success of the individual will be measured on delivering quality support, launching new
products to market with speed and quality through collaboration with the marketing
team and generating of sales and margin from those products including the agreed
upon ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Web Catalog - Partner with our Sales/Marketing team to ensure we are offering
    the best product offering based on customer feedback. Attractively merchandise
    products on our customer-facing websites with category locations and vehicle
    fitments. Write product detail page descriptive copy that is informative and
    engaging. Coordinate and execute product uploads or updates across the
    catalog.
  • Web Catalog Pricing - Review and optimize the price for new and existing
    product to align with pricing strategy by product type. Monitor competitor
    pricing to ensure Evannex remains competitive in the market.?
  • Product Development - Participate in the development and support of new
    products for Evannex. Define a clear sales expectation and cannibalization
    analysis for each product line or product that is being contemplated for
    onboarding. Accountable for the success of the product launch by making sure
    we deliver on the agreed upon sales and margin projections.?
  • Inventory Support - Ensure we have accurate forecasting for projected volume,
    partner with Sourcing & Purchasing to ensure we have the appropriate items in
    stock.
  • Market Data - Analyzing and acting on feedback from Sales/Customer Service,
    email marketing, and social media interactions to improve our customer
    experience by creating and maintaining a best-in-class product catalog.
  • Marketing Support - Assist in finding influencers that can be utilized to
    promote new products. Work with creative team to include relevant and vehicle
    specific photos, GIFs, and/or video content
  • Other Responsibilities - Perform other duties as assigned by the business.
Requirements
  • Passionate about the EV industry - Previous experience with Tesla or EV is
    preferred
  • Upbeat, cheerful, positive personality that is customer focused
  • Previous experience in an ecommerce environment is preferred
  • 1 - 2 years of proven experience in customer service and or sales with the ability
    to troubleshoot and successfully resolve customer issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both
    customers and internal stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in
    customer service or product support is a plus.
  • Professional phone etiquette and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
