Responsibilities Process Engineers work across technologies such as: Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant. Responsibilities include: Develop cutting-edge processes used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices Design both hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments Perform hardware characterization on a variety of advanced systems and provide guidance to design engineering authority, within safety guidelines Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform multiple root cause analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reports Interact with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues, up to including oral presentations to customers Execute problem-solving learning cycle: define problem statement, devise experimental plan and select characterization techniques with which data will be collected, perform experiments, perform measurements, process and analyze data, draw conclusions based on data, execute if necessary a follow-up learning cycle based on conclusions Measure film properties and interpret data to drive concise conclusions Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation Requirements Graduating with a Master’s degree(or Doctorate or Postdoc) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnologies or related field Demonstrable breadth of expertise in semiconductor technologies Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others to adopt a different point of view Multi-disciplinary team collaboration Flexible and adaptable mindset Thrive in a results-driven culture Has an appetite to grow a career in the semiconductor industry Considerations Previous internship or related experience in field Demonstrated leadership experience Thesis and relevant coursework Patents and publications Qualifications Education: Doctorate Degree (Required), Master's Degree (Required) Skills: Certifications: Languages: Years of Experience: Up to 1 Year Work Experience: Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: New College Grad Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: Yes U.S. Salary Range: $84,000.00 - $115,500.00 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
