Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

Seeking a candidate to run a small crew and operate heavy equipment. This position requires grading, excavating, loading, hauling, trenching, driving metal posts, and moving dirt to facilitate the completion of various earthwork projects. Responsibilities include: • Operating heavy equipment including excavators, mini excavators, and bobcats, and running a 3-4 man crew on a daily basis • Installing erosion control measures such as silt fence and super silt fence • Excavating for and building bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins, and other stormwater management facilities/BMPs • Mucking out and re-grading ponds • Shooting grades for stakeout and reading/interpreting cut sheets • Fine grading • Installing underdrain on roadway projects • Completing other grading and excavation needs per the request of our clients

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in the utility field

  • Operating heavy equipment

  • Grading and excavation

  • Installing erosion control measures

  • Reading and interpreting cut sheets

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Falls Church, Virginia.
