If you have experience in mechanical assembler, quality control, quality inspector, machine operating, machine inspection, tester machine set up, operating shapers or hobbing machines, and have at least one year of previous manufacturing experience, you are encouraged to apply   

Job Title: Tester

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $19.50

What's the Job?

        Responsible for testing gears following specifications sheets, to assure the gear is operating at required tolerance levels by using the appropriate indicators such as a torque meter, crack bar, indicator scale, air-tools, overhead crane, and stamps within a specified amount of time         Interpret blue prints and specifications sheets on all models of steering gears; change model plates, as required, to conduct test on the different models

What's Needed?

        Proficient with mechanical tools and measuring equipment including shop rule, torque meters and indicators         Communication skills, ability to read, write and comprehend instruction         Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach frequently throughout the workday         Ability to lift items up to 40lbs without assistance         Knowledge of shop mathematics (including decimals and fractions), and blue print reading preferred
- Ability to navigate on a computer
