Job Description

Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team

Duties:
  • Checking patients in/out
  • Rooming patients
  • Documenting the reason for their visit
  • Assisting the providers with the visit and helping in procedures, surgeries, or cosmetics
  • Assisting with special dermatology procedures
  • Perform as a team, working closely and communicating clearly, effectively, and professionally with co-workers
  • Process paperwork and documentation into charts
  • Processing prescriptions and referrals
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills required
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced office
  • Comfortably handle stressful situations
  • Demonstrate a high-level degree of professionalism
Job Type:
  • Full- TIme : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with days as needed
Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in medical office setting (Required)
Education:
  • High School Diploma (Required)
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Certificates related to medical training or education preferred
Pay:
  • Pay starts at $18.00 and increases based on experience
