To represent 1-800-FLOWERS.com in a positive manner, and design merchandise to satisfy the needs of the customers, both retail and in-wire.

This is a high pace environment, and the candidate must be able to meet all company standards. The candidate should come with a creative background and enjoy working as a team to meet the deadlines. This core position involves planning, prepping, designing and dipping off fruit. It is essential that the kitchen be kept clean and well organized. All fruit must be checked for quality and freshness to meet FDA standards. All the necessary information needs to logged and stored to stay compliant and to track every fruit order that was filled.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to stand for an extend period.
  • The cooler must be kept clean and organized.
  • Capable of working under pressure and good organizational skills.
  • Good Communicational skill necessary.
  • Must be Flexible and willing to work longer hours during holidays and on weekends.
  • Assist in other departments when necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 25-40 pounds.
  • Must comply to all FDA standards
  • Good attention to detail and work well with others.
  • Must be able to work in the cooler for an extended period of time.
  • No jewelry is allowed in the kitchen.
  • Designer experience is a plus
  • Should have good math skills and able to receive and give directions when necessary.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Must log and track every order that is produced in the kitchen.
