Civil Litigation Attorney Overview:
As the Litigation Attorney, you will handle cases from complaint to trial with the support from an experienced team.

About our client:
They are a leading law firm in the Macon area, specializing in civil litigation in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle and oversee litigation files from inception through trial, ensuring effective case management.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for each case to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Regularly engage with clients, adjusters, and fellow legal professionals in person and over the phone, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Maintain open and continuous communication with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Audit cases for all expenses, including medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, and subrogation liens.
  • Take and defend depositions, handle motion work, participate in mediations, and represent clients at trial.
  • Successfully lead a litigation team, providing guidance and support to team members.
Work Experience Requirements:
  • Capable of handling litigation cases from initiation to conclusion.
  • Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in supervising and managing other team members.
  • Trial experience is a must.
  • Preferred 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Pre-Litigation experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Current member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.
  • Trial experience is a prerequisite.

The targeted base salary for this role is between $100-140k+ (flexible depending on experience). Relocation support with be provided to candidates outside the area.
