We are adding a Utility Worker to our shop floor. This is a unique position as this role will interact with everyone on the shop floor to help maintain the upkeep of the machines. The Utility Worker is a versatile person who can perform many hands-on tasks in the shop including emptying chip bins, replacing coolant and filters, and supporting bench operations. This role would be a good fit for a person who is reliable, flexible, and willing to learn. This is a part time role (20 hours/week) that can be flexible around daily schedule preferences (i.e. 6am-10am, 1pm-5pm, etc.) and is the perfect way for someone interested in manufacturing to get a sense of the work environment. We offer career advancement opportunities for those who are interested.

Essential Duties

  • Empty chip bins

  • Change coolant and fillers

  • Work in bright dip, finish grinding, and the saw

  • Day-to-day general maintenance and shop help

Position Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and execute

  • Positive attitude and a team player

  • Reliable and predictable work schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, crouch, and sometimes be in awkward positions

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs at a time

You should be proficient in:

  • Meets Physical Requirements
  • High School / GED

Salary info:

$20 - $20 / hr
