Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13-week temporary contracts are available Pay rates range from $65.00-$77.00per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA:
  • Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patients
  • Obtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health status
  • Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans
  • Identify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosis
  • Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
  • Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility
  • Conduct rounds
  • Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications

Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA:
  • Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in Arizona
  • Current DEA registration
  • Appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site Physician
  • Valid CPR card
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred
