NOW HIRING: Regional Finance Associate

Job Title: Regional Finance Associate  

Salary: $4,000-$5,000/month, or commensurate with experience

Start Date: Available immediately

The Regional Finance Associate works under the guidance of the Finance Director and is responsible for staffing and executing in-state events, maintains NGP/Numero, assists with call time and other administrative tasks as assigned. They should be forward-thinking, strategic-driven, and skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining keen attention to detail. This position reports directly to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records in a database, and monitor for areas of improvement and/or enhanced information
  • Assist with call time preparation and staffing
  • Help plan, schedule and manage small-and large-scale in-state fundraising events ranging from small social gatherings to large events with 50+ attendees, including virtual events in partnership with the national finance team
  • Build on existing donor database by identifying, research, and recruiting new donors
  • Provide staff support for in-person and virtual events, including memo preparation, event outreach, and pledge follow-up and tracking
  • Assist in tracking contributions
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ideally one cycle of political fundraising experience, including call time and/or events. Ideal candidates will have experience in all aspects of campaign finance operations including call time, events, mail, email, digital, budget management, and compliance 
  • Lives in or willing to relocate to Omaha for the duration of the current campaign cycle
  • Highly organized with a particularly keen attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and persistent follow-through
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to effectively and independently manage projects with many moving parts to drive them towards resolution and produce high-quality results on tight deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willing to work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid judgment and political sense, honesty, and discretion
  • Extensive knowledge of NGP, Numero and Excel/Google Sheets
