Job Summary: Manage and operate the equipment of the inedible egg drying process. This will include loading/unloading tankers, operating the dryer and packaging equipment as well as other required equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Will be responsible for product quality and the completion of production records as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strictly adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures and ensures a safe and clean work environment.
  • Assures that established policy, procedures and work rules are followed.
  • Operate the tanker unloading / loading, UF/RO processing, drying and packaging equipment
  • Ensure equipment is operating correctly to ensure a high-quality product.
  • Completion of all testing and documentation for quality parameters
  • Completion of required operation reports, quality records, log tracking and other required paperwork.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities and training sessions
  • Ensure preventative and routine maintenance is completed and done in the most cost effective manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to perform general maintenance as required.
  • Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Independent Self-Starter/Team Player.
  • Mathematical Skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions.
  • Able to frequently push, pull, lift and climb stairs.
  • Able to work in all environmental conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. and repeatedly lift 55 lb. bags on a regular/constant basis.
  • Mechanical and equipment repair skills (preferred).
  • Sanitation experience: CIP, pumps (preferred).
