Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E)

By joining our Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E) business, you will be a member of a team dedicated to providing innovative solutions that streamline the preparation and execution of intricate, mission-critical operations. We focus on enhancing situational awareness, tactical command and control, and seamless video data exchange capabilities within a dynamic, multi-domain environment.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers with exceptional expertise in C/C++ programming to support our industry-leading Command and Control (C2) product line. This role is ideal for dedicated coders who thrive on solving complex challenges and making a tangible impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This hybrid position is available in Austin, TX or Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate must be willing to work onsite at least three days per week.

  • Leads the development and design of complex software applications, ensuring that they meet the business and customer needs.
  • Directs the application of existing principles and guides the development of new policies and ideas.
  • Analyzes and resolves issues identified during customer testing and scenario runs.
  • Contributes to software architecture decisions and the design of complex systems.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborates with other teams to meet project goals.
  • Evaluates and implements best practices to improve software quality and efficiency.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level at time of hire. Clearances are granted to US Citizens.
  • Expert knowledge of programming languages C and C++. JavaScript and Python highly desired. ADA and/or FORTRAN highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software architecture, and system design.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven experience managing and mentoring software teams.
  • Extensive experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and associated software development kits.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovative solutions and lead large-scale projects across multiple teams.
