Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Supervisor 

Salary: $50-$60k/yr BOE

Schedule: Full time | M-F| Flexible hours

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (surrounding area)

Requirements of the Rehab Supervisor role:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

  • CPR/BLS Certified

  • Must be willing to travel

  • Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage

  • Reliable transportation 

  • Leadership experience 

About the Rehab Supervisor role: 

  • Work with facility nursing staff and DON to identify potential therapy candidates.

  • Send in referrals to office staff from the facility.

  • Work with facility NP or Dr to obtain orders for therapy and face-to-face visit notes

  • Call outside doctor offices to request therapy orders and request visit notes

  • Call POA to notify them of therapy needs and to obtain consent for treatment

  • Keep facility staff, DON, updated as to who is on therapy and when new therapy cases will be evaluated and seen.

  • Keep ongoing caseload lists for all facilities managed, including date of start of care, reassessment, and discharge dates that are to be shared with DON weekly

  • Work with home health agency partners to help with obligations and community events in facilities.  

  • Assist with monthly weights and vitals checks, exercise classes, and community events

  • Ensure weekly family updates are being completed by therapists treating the patients

  • Give therapist update on new referrals and any important information relayed to you by POA or facility staff

  • Manage and mitigate complaints from therapists, family members, patients, facility staff 

  • Ensure any rented space by TCT is neat and orderly. Trash is taken out, supplies and equipment are put away and maintained, etc.  

  • Responsible for making sure any and all supplies or equipment needed is available at the facility for the therapist to utilize such as consent forms, cleaning supplies, and Theraband.  

  • Assisting with setting therapist schedules

  • Orienting new staff to building and building staff

  • Assisting with training new staff
