Job Description
Immediate AAC Specialist Opening / School Setting / In-Person / Livermore

We are seeking an experienced SLP with AAC expertise or an AAC Specialist. School-based setting to partner with one of our current AAC Specialists due to a higher than expected caseload. Join our dynamic team and change students' lives

POSITION DETAILS:

-AAC specialist position: experience required

-3-4 day position, In-person only

-Conduct district wide AAC assessments

-Determine appropriateness for AAC systems/devices and device recommendations

-Experience in device purchases, setting up of devices, and training staff/caregivers

-Data collection, delivery of consult and direct services with the shift to mostly consultation

-Collaborate with AAC/AT Department

-Train SLPs on implementation of AAC goals in the natural environment

Requirements

-Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

-Current CA SLP License/Credential or Eligibility

-Fingerprint Background Clearance

-Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance

-School Experience Preferred
