Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Description As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team. Under general supervision, your responsibilities will include performing all respiratory care related duties, setting up and administering all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. You will also be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation. In the absence of the full-time Team Leader, self-direction is expected. You will also be responsible for maintaining all department and hospital records and entering accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given. Qualifications · 1 year of RRT Experience · Completion of an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree) · Current BLS (Basic Life Support) · Must be Registered (RRT) · Prefer FL Lic or willing to get it Hard Skills Respiratory care Administration of respiratory therapy procedures Operation of acute care ventilators Record maintenance Soft Skills Self-direction Accuracy in data entry Excellent patient care Job Type This is a permanent position.
