This role involves providing crisis intervention, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and documenting patient progress within required timelines. The therapist also completes discharge documentation and supports changes in staffing and scheduling as needed.

Education/Training Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or related field
  • LGSW, LPC, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, LAMFT, or equivalent state license
  • Training in therapeutic interventions, cognitive behavioral therapies, and management of aggressive patients
  • First Aid and CPR certification required
  • Attendance at relevant in-services and educational requirements
