Job description
Duties and Responsibilities of an LVN
- Examining and recording the changes in the clinical conditions of the patients.
- Taking specimens like blood, urine, sputum, etc.
- Administering medications.
- Taking care of ostomies.
- Changing wound dressings.
- Feeding the patients through a gastrostomy tube.
- At the time of emergency, they perform CPR.
- 2. Intermediate to advanced computing and phone skills.
- 3. Working knowledge of "Universal Precautions" and demonstrated professionalism at all times
- 4. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-stress and fast-moving environment
- 5. Possess a thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure according to the general standards set forth by HIPAA.
- 6. Culturally sensitive and demonstrated ability and effectiveness working with ethnically diverse populations.
- 7. Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work on an as-needed basis in order to meet operational needs of the clinic.
