Licensed Vocational Nurse [1350] Regular Full Time Amarillo, TX, US Requisition ID:1018 Salary Range:$25.78 To $25.78 Hourly Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse [1350] Program: Amarillo, Texas - Medication Unit Behavioral Health Salary: $25.78 per hour Shift available: Full-time Essential duties and responsibilities: Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language Licensed Vocational Nurse provides professional psychiatric nursing services for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Units of TPC The LVN is responsible for the care and treatment of assigned consumers in accordance with accepted nursing and medical standards The Licensed Vocational Nurse Works closely with all TPC treatment team members and community partners to attend to the psychiatric needs of clients The Licensed Vocational Nurse interacts with clients in a person centered, trauma informed manner and provides direct services in the area of medication, mental health education and care coordination Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised Required qualifications to be successful in the job: Licensed to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas License must be current and in good standing Must be able to demonstrate compliance with the TXBNEs rules and regulations to maintain required license Must have a valid Texas drivers license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job: Knowledge of EHR Bilingual Previous experience in psychiatric nursing field At TPC, passion and meaningful work is rewarded We offer employees: Click here for TPC's FY2024 Summary of Benefits {target="_blank"} Robust benefit offerings - Medical, Urgent Care visits for a low $10 co-pay, Dental, and Vision Employer paid life insurance (1.5 times employee's salary) Staff automatically enrolled into a 457 Retirement Account at 1% of their annual salary.
