Job Title: Finance Business Partner Location: Fully Remote Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team on a fully remote basis. This interim role is a 9-month fixed-term contract (FTC) that will support the North American Leadership Team in overseeing U.S. entities, regulatory liaising, and providing analytical support for financial planning and forecasting. Responsibilities: Business Partnering: Prepare planning and MI reporting for US and Canadian operations. Regular reporting is provided to local regulators, Boards of Directors, management platform committees, rating agencies, and other internal stakeholders such as risk management and internal audit. Perform review and subsequent outward reporting of Budget versus Actual results for local operations. Partner with business teams to ensure accuracy for planning and forecasting, MI, and other key operational performance metrics. Provide insight and challenge through financial analysis to enable product and project leaders to make decisions and achieve targets. Support local leadership committees, platform forums, and legal entity governance boards with planning and forecast information. Regulatory Reporting: Support leadership on financial and capital planning activities performed for the US, including oversight of mid- and long-term planning, RBC projections, capital requirements, and finance/regulatory requirements. Assist leadership in regulatory matters, including research, analysis of regulatory requirements, and drafting responses to regulator queries. Qualifications: Proven experience in statutory reporting and property and casualty insurance. Strong background in accounting and finance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial reporting and regulatory reporting. Familiarity with financial planning and forecasting tools.
