This is a direct hire opening Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer Location: Eagan, MN Salary: 95-115k Key Responsibilities Process Design and Optimization: Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Equipment and Tooling: Oversee the selection, installation, and validation of manufacturing equipment and tooling. Ensure equipment is maintained and operates efficiently. Process Validation: Develop and implement comprehensive process validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure manufacturing processes meet regulatory and quality standards. Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvements. Implement corrective actions as needed. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to resolve technical issues and support new product introductions. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on medical devices or a related industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, statistical analysis, and process optimization. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory standards.
