Develop metrics and progress

1. **SIEM System Management:**

- Design, configure, and manage the SIEM system to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.

- Implement and maintain SIEM architecture, including data collection, parsing, and correlation.

- Regularly update and patch SIEM software and hardware components.

2. **Security Event Monitoring and Analysis:**

- Monitor security events and alerts generated by the SIEM system.

- Analyze security incidents to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.

3. **Use Case Development and Tuning:**

- Develop and implement SIEM use cases and correlation rules to detect and respond to security threats.

- Continuously tune and optimize SIEM rules to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.

- Collaborate with other security teams to define and refine use cases based on emerging threats.

4. **Incident Response:**

- Work closely with the incident response team to provide context and support during security investigations.
