Benefits for full-time employees: • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays after 90 days • Cell phone allowance • Use of company vehicles to get to the job site • Paid training and certifications • Profit sharing* • 3% contribution to 401k** • Health & dental available after 60 days • Life insurance is provided after 60 days (at no cost to you) • Option to purchase additional life insurance • AFLAC • Opportunity for growth • Work with an experienced team of professionals *Must meet established company goals **401k eligible after one year of employment Responsibilities: • Keep detailed records of job changes and a daily log of job site occurrences to assist with documentation for the project manager • Prepare materials for returns, fill out purchase orders, receive on-site material deliveries, remove debris, and handle waste removal properly • Help builders, contractors, project engineers, and construction manager with all aspects of the job and the daily procedures of the project to ensure the project gets completed in a timely manner and you develop your construction skills • Support the project manager and lead team in the forward planning process to ensure the building will be well-maintained in the future • Water the yard and clean the job site as needed to maintain a good exterior appearance • Inventory personal property • Packing, loading & transport • Disassemble and reassemble furniture • Dry and wet cleaning, depending on the surface • Deodorization (ozone, foggers, etc.) • Identify salvageable versus non-salvageable contents • Use established software to photograph and document all items • Provide excellent customer service • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines • Ensure attention to detail • Safeguarding customer's property and information • Practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite • Support the Project Manager and lead the team in producing a high-quality, high-efficiency work product • Work in accordance with all safety guidelines on the job site and immediately report any incidents or violations of work rules to the Project Manager • Complete final preparations and walk-throughs with the Project Manager and the client Qualifications: • Maintain good physical stamina to climb ladders and stairs, work outdoors for long periods of time • Be familiar with basic skills and construction methods, such as how to use construction equipment and tools • History of professionalism, being a team player, adhering to project schedules, regular attendance at work, and a strong work ethic • Have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license • Work experience as an administrative assistant or in the construction industry is preferred, but not required • Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record • Have good physical stamina to climb ladders, and stairs, and work in varying temperatures • Strong work ethic • Friendly personality and the ability to work as a team • IICRC FRST and/or CPS certification is preferred • Ability to work longer hours if needed • Attention to detail is a Must • Previous personal property handling is preferred • Able to disassembly and reassembly furniture using hand and power tools • Able to stand for long periods of time We are a drug-free company. Compensation: $16 - $20 hourly
