Kingspan Insulation is searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work at the Rockford, MN location. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as the business continues to expand its U.S. operations. This position is responsible for the installation, modification, repair, and preventative maintenance of plant facilities and production equipment. Pay range starting at $27.00 an hour

Key Duties Include

Essential Duties
  • Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment
  • Repairs all equipment and machinery independently with no supervision.
  • Installs new/repaired equipment.
  • Monitors equipment performance.
  • Performs equipment troubleshooting, repair and change over independently with no supervision.
  • Assists in special projects.
  • Assists process team in troubleshooting or modifying line equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Generates ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Works to eliminate future mechanical problems.
  • Performs inspections as required including all areas covered by Process Safety Management (PSM).
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Tracks and logs work orders and parts supplies on Computerized Main Management Software (CMMS) and SAP systems
  • Available to be on-call and work overtime as needed.
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Product Compliance Policy.
  2. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations and market demands.
  3. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of Compliance Management System.
  4. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing preferred.

Must have:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic mechanics and electronics with a proficiency in doing so.
  • Electrical experience preferred but not required
  • Boiler license/experience preferred but not required
Must be able to:
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
  • Work in a team based environment.
  • overtime, as needed.
  • Follow directions and get along well with others.
