We are looking for a full time IT/AV Field Service Technician to join our growing team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS and Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and provide basic troubleshooting for network and IT equipment such as routers, switches, and wireless access points 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the scope and materials required for each project. 
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot audio and video equipment
  • Coordinate on-site with the contractor and the client to communicate the progress, issues, and solutions of the project. 
  • Work with the project management team to plan and allocate the resources, materials, and equipment for the project. 
  • Work, in conjunction with SOHA Account manager, on home automation solutions based on client needs and preferences, provide any detail from site to assist account manager 
  • Train and mentor new or junior associates  and assist with their professional development.
  • Maintain industry certifications, stay up to date on industry trends, and report to office management on new product or policy implementations needed 
  • Must be a self-starter, self-initiative and independent leader.
  • Meraki, Control4 or Crestron experience a plus
  • Understanding of structured wiring, networking, & wireless integration
  • Understanding of basic electronics & electrical drawings
  • Technical degree, military or work experience equivalent
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must like having fun and love to be safe
