Sophos Speech and Academics is seeking a highly motivated SLPA to join our interdisciplinary team. As a practitioner at Sophos, you will have the freedom to practice in the way that you feel is most effective. You will have ample materials and space for play-based, child-centered therapy. This position is flexible while offering consistent work. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our interdisciplinary academic team, in order to provide the most holistic interventions to children. Our families enjoy it when our academic instructors work alongside our therapists to ensure continuity in interventions. We currently provide a standard 50-minute private session in our state-of-the-art clinic and do not accept insurance. We also require 5 minutes for parent conferences and 5 minutes for documentation per hour of treatment. $80-$85/hour for CCC (Part-Time or Full-Time), $40-$50/hour for SLP-CF. Responsibilities: • Provide speech, language, and communication assessments, differential diagnoses, and individualized treatment plans • Conduct language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing screenings • Provide consistent data-driven progress reports • Develop and implement therapy sessions to address the unique needs of individual patients • Conference with parents to share progress and provide recommendations • Ensure consistency in patient treatment sessions • Receive support and training from experienced supervisor Qualifications: • Self-Motivated and inquisitive • Willingness to commute to the clinic • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with parents, teachers, and our tutors • Enjoy working with artic pediatric patients • Self-motivated to develop overall clinic contribution • Enjoy teaching educators and learning from educators • Organized and data-driven • Seeking autonomy and creativity in work environment Compensation: $45 - $60 hourly, dependent on experience
