Wellness Alliances is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Laughlin. In this role, you will assist licensed Physical Therapists in the delivery of patient care and treatment. You will directly work with patients to help improve their mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and executing therapeutic exercises and techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Assist with patient education on self-care techniques and exercises
- Administer modalities and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Nevada
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
