We are seeking experienced Pipefitter Underground/Mechanicals to work in our Project located at Bradenton, FL 34212. Starting pay will be $24 - $29 per hour based on experience Responsibilities: Layout, excavation and install of underground utilities. The layout and install of above ground mechanical piping and supports. Experience in the installation of ductile iron, PVC and C900 pipe and fittings. Rerouting sewer/ drain lines, demoing and installing diffusers, demoing and installing a bar screen, installing new UV system, and monorail Grade Checking and use of standard pipe lasers, use of GPS modeling equipment, and level & grade rod for calculating elevations and slopes are among the list of tasks that each crew member must perform. Qualifications: Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges Ability to set up and perform piping tests Must have reliable transportation to job-site. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
