Xpress Wellness is a leading healthcare care provider that is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. We are currently seeking a Provider Credentialing Assistant to join our team. As a Provider Credentialing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our healthcare providers are properly credentialed and certified to provide medical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the completion and submission of provider enrollment applications and credentialing/recredentialing packages.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all pending and completed work in credentialing software.
  • Assist with intake documents and input data into credentialing software and credentialing database.
  • Assist with monitoring database for pending expirations of licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, etc.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to provider credentialing.
  • Communicate credentialing status and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the credentialing process.
  • Other duties as assigned. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in healthcare provider credentialing preferred
  • Prior experience with CAQH and PECOS preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized records
  • Proficient in using credentialing software and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare provider networks
  • Understanding of credentialing standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
