Our client in the Amarillo area is seeking an Intake Specialist to be responsible for the screening and eligibility determination of clients inquiring about Refugee Resettlement Services Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capture the first date of inquiry and demographics from clients with our agency.
  • Request eligibility documents from clients and maintain communication.
  • Screen all clients and complete necessary steps to determine program eligibility.
  • Schedule all clients for intake appointments for programs.
  • Provide follow up on case status up to scheduled intake.
  • Prep documentation prior to scheduled intake.
  • Maintain client log and accurate client communication to be captured in case notes once client is enrolled in programs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's degree in education or social services or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Refugees and Refugee Resettlement processes.
  • Preferred experience in Case Management and Grant Management (not mandatory)
