Plumbers Supply Co, a family owned business celebrating 103 years in 2024, has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate at our Louisville- Bishop Lane Branch. As a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a team responsible for put away of received product, replenishment and other duties as assigned.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for putaway of received product using RF scanner from load locations to bin locations following Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Replenish primary bins from Overstock locations following Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Ability to research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintaining inventory integrity through unfailing effort with inventory movement procedures.
  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker).
  • Helping team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees.
  • Maneuvering heavy equipment using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Forklift Experience & Certified
  • At Least 1 year of prior Warehouse Experience
  • Basic Computer & Math Skills
  • Customer Service Focused
  • Dependable Attendance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to Multi-Task
  • Attentive to Detail
  • Motivated to Train & Learn
  • Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. The candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and kneel and bend.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Background Check
