Title: NetSuite Systems Analyst
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Why open: Brand new need for someone that can solely focus on this application

Overview:

  • Team started 3 years ago with very little technology
  • W/CTO's lead they implemented NetSuite and all of the connectors - connected to networks, phone systems, CTO is still very hands on but he needs a right hand man
  • The systems are in place and they need someone to maintain them as well as work with the business to ensure they are functioning properly
  • They operate in a MS eco system
  • They do a lot around teams - what they strive to do is document everything and put it into a teams environment
  • 30 days - learning and understanding processes, update documentation where it's lacking
    can maintain the documentation and update it
  • Ultimately provide training to individuals - not super big co, individual training will be required
Goals:
  • They just finished implementing the last connection to corporate portal that houses customer info in November - going through fixes and bugs right now and mike is overwhelmed - doing UAT and getting through the emails from mostly sales department about fixes
  • Short term is how do we get that off of CTO's plate - working with business for fixes
  • Long term goal is to maintain it
Day to Day:
  • CSV imports to maintain data
  • Saved searches and reports to support the needs of the folks that need data in NetSuite
  • General monitoring - some saved searches that are designed to point out where things aren't going right
  • Learn and understand the processes and reviewing existing documentation and where it's lacking and to update it
  • There is a lot of documentation but moving fast so need to be nimble
  • Use their knowledge to provide training to the business that is unfamiliar with how to utilize NetSuite
  • Customer portal is one of their systems - learn and understand how that works - they will be doing a lot of testing of system changes - understanding technical of how and the why
  • The governments will often require changes and when they do things will go into a hold and they need to be aware of the small details
Must have:
  • 5 years as a NetSuite systems analyst
  • Application / business process / interfacing with end users
  • They need to be a good writer as well
  • Systems analyst
  • Analytical, detail oriented, very hands on, dig in and figure it out
  • NetSuite, csv imports to NetSuite, data in and out
  • Patience for teaching the business
Interview process: 1 two hour onsite and 2-3 virtual **this is being treated as a full time hire and will go direct in 2025
