Power Shift Emergency Medical Technician

Power Shift Pay Rate: $30 per hour (standard hourly rate range without Power Shift incentive is $22.50 - $25.50+ per hour)
Locations Available: Abington, PA, Philadelphia, PA, King of Prussia, PA, and Langhorne, PA
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: To qualify for this Power Shift Program, you must be available for the following shift:4,12-hour shifts weekly between the hours of 0600 Thursday and 0600 Monday. (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Day or night shift).
Benefits:
- $7,000 sign-on bonus for full-time
- $8,000 sign-on bonus for full-time (military veterans)

- Weekly Pay
- Built-In Overtime (Power Shift overtime hourly rate is $45 per hour)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
- Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
- Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
- Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.
- Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
- Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be able to perform the additional duties and meet additional requirements to qualify and remain in the Power Shift Program.
- Other tasks as assigned
- PA EMT State Certification (minimum)
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver's license for a minimum of 2 years)
- Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more
- Must meet the Power Shift Program requirements to qualify and remain in the Power Shift Program.
