Occupational Therapist Assistant - Full Time Days

$10,000 STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, at Grandview Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
  • Occupational Therapist Assistant License issued by the State of Alabama
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
About the Job:
  • Instructs patients in the skills and techniques required for participation in functional activities and evaluates patient progress, attitudes, and behavior as related to rehabilitative potentials in accordance with State Regulations and departmental policies.
  • Plans, develops and implements a result-oriented treatment plan responsive to the individualized needs of the patient and includes clear, measurable goals to develop, recover, improve and maintain skills needed for daily living and working. Modifies the treatment plan according to the patient's responses.
  • Communicates regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members and others involved with the patient's care.
  • Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
