Job Duties:

  • Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.
  • Initiate collaboration with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members and take action to proactively resolve and facilitate patient needs.
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making regarding the utilization of evidence-based practice.
  • Provide input to the manager for performance appraisals of care delivery team members.
  • Precept and mentor new staff and students in a professional, positive manner as assigned.

Position Details:

Inpatient LPN opportunities on inpatient units to include: Admissions Unit, Advanced Acute Care, Cardiac/Telemetry, Cardiac Special Care Unit, Childbirth Unit, Emergency Department, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Float Pool, Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, Orthopedics, and Progressive Care Unit.

Schedule may vary based on unit needs.

Requirements:
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
  • Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Default Issuing Body
