Lead Advanced Practice Provider
Dartmouth Health Medical Center - Lebanon, NH
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Lead to join a team of forty advanced practice providers delivering behavioral health care services across the lifespan and throughout northern New England. Responsibilities include recruiting, educating and mentoring a team of APPs as they work to address the growing demand for services. Currently, this includes APPs who are new to practice as well as experienced clinicians, leaders and educators, many of whom are boarded in more than one specialty or are pursuing doctoral education. You'll have the opportunity to work with a group of APPs who are experts in their area of specialty, offering consultation to their professional colleagues across the continuum of care and acuity.
The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical practice in psychiatry, leadership skills, and an understanding of APP education and workforce development. In collaboration with the Chief APP Officer, the Department Chair for Psychiatry, and other leaders, this Advanced Practice Provider Lead will work to support each APP to practice at the top of their license and have facilitate opportunities for professional growth consistent with the goal of contributing to the provision of high quality, collaborative care.
This APP Lead will have some non-clinical time protected for these leadership responsibilities, and the area of their clinical practice would be discussed on interview.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree required.
- 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing with individuals and groups at various levels and various disciplines.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Currently licensed as an APRN or PA-C in the State of New Hampshire - National Certification from approved certifying body - Additional certifications must be maintained in accordance with applicable departmental requirements
- FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week
