Job Summary

We are proud to offer a full-time NICU Registered Nurse with a $21,500 hiring incentive for eligible candidates $40.00 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Relocation assistance for eligible candidates

Job Duties

  • Completing assessments based on scope of practice and unit standards
  • Addressing patient and family needs throughout the continuum of care
  • Formulating, coordinating, and providing a plan of care
  • Providing direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions
  • Initiating collaboration with physicians and other team members
  • Participating in unit-based decision-making for evidence-based practice
  • Participating in patient quality and safety education programs

Position Details

We are looking for experienced NICU Registered Nurses to join our collaborative team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The NICU is a Level 4, 41-bed unit providing intensive care services for newborns and infants with various conditions.

Education

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
