Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.
  • Apply sales and use tax treatments for leased equipment.
  • Use Vertex-O for reporting and updates.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger data.
  • Ensure tax documentation meets standards.
  • Adjust journal entries and general ledger accounts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and analyze tax liability accounts.
  • Review sales tax exemption certificates.
  • Build and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows (preferred).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of Vertex Indirect Tax Returns and Vertex-O (preferred).
  • Proficient in sales tax research, audits, registrations, and business licensing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Alteryx (preferred).
