SUMMARY:

Junior/Mid-level developer with responsibility for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Vendor and In-House developed application systems, with a concentration on front-end development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Application Development Functions:
    1. Coding, testing, documentation & change control tasks follow BLC standards & procedures
    2. Developed solutions utilize the most appropriate technology w/in BLC architecture
    3. Code passes peer review
    4. Quality of deliverables meets client expectations; deliverables require little rework
    5. System on-call, operations, & disaster recovery documentation is kept up to date
  2. Work Management and Leadership:
    1. Assignments are completed on time and close to estimated effort
    2. Successfully handles multiple concurrent assignments and successfully accommodates changing assignments, clarifying priorities as needed
    3. Provides regular updates of project/issue status
    4. Volunteers for projects/tasks as workload allows
  3. Analytical and Web experience:
    1. In-depth analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
    2. Ability to translate requirements


EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in Information Systems or Certifications in relevant technologies, or equivalent working experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of applicable Web Development experience.
